Metal Free Restorations
Full Contour Zirconia
This is a monolithic restoration designed and milled from a solid block of yttria -stabilised zirconia, with the aid of CAD/CAM technology. It is a bio-compatible material, which minimizes the potential for allergic reaction.
Zirconia (Zirconium Oxide ZRO2) is a highly stable oxide ceramic made from the highest quality zirconia powder, that has been chemically and physically reprocessed to further reduce the particle size. This allows for improved light transmission, which results in a more natural shade distribution, and makes it less abrasive to opposing dentition.
All of our zirconia materials are Health Canada approved. Its superior strength and durability makes it the ideal and cost effective alternative to a full gold crown, however, it requires a little more occlusal reduction then its counterpart.

E.max® Press
IPS E.max Press is a patented lithium disilicate, state-of-the-art material, demonstrating unmatched beauty along with the highest flexural strength of 400MPa in all glass ceramics.
IPS E.max material exhibits optimized translucency, durability and strength for full anatomical or minimally layered restorations. Therefore, for an even more lifelike appearance we choose to layer most e.max anterior restorations.
In order to achieve the reproduction of the desired tooth shade, we ask the dentist to determine the shade of the preparation with the help of the IPS Natural Die Material shade guide. The backside of any shade tab may also be used. This shade plus the desired restoration shade enables the technician to select an ingot of correct translucency. Please remember that the shade of the cementation material will influence the final result.

Veneers

Fractured front teeth and stained or slightly malpositioned teeth can be treated with all-ceramic shells (veneers). Veneers are firmly attached to the surface of your teeth, allowing for an improved look without having to sacrifice a lot of your own tooth structure.
